The Beverly Hills International Music Festival provides intensive study opportunities for its students. During the Festival, young musicians have the opportunity to hear the faculty artists perform in recitals, and work with them in master classes, lectures and private lessons. Students are offered at least four private lessons, one Master Class with one of the faculty artists, participation in the Chamber Orchestra Workshop and the possibility to perform as a soloist (by audition) in the Festival’s closing gala performance. Students may also participate in the Chamber Music Program (two chamber music coachings). Selected young musicians will be accepted to participate as solo performers in the Festival recital and two will be chosen as soloists in the final performance with the Chamber Orchestra. The repertoire used during the Festival training is the choice of the applicant.The Festival is open to individuals as well as chamber groups. The Master Classes are open to Auditors. Registered auditors may take private lessons with a Festival Faculty member of their choice. Payments include tuition and admission to all Festival concerts, master classes, lectures, social events and gala performances. Students and auditors completing the Festival Program receive certificates from the DMG Music Association, Inc. in recognition of their participation in the Beverly Hills International Music Festival 2009. Applicants
should submit a demo audio (CD) or DVD Limited Scholarships are available to qualified applicants. Audition materials must be received by March 30, 2009.
